Effective Communication Foundations

Have you heard about Nonviolent Communication, read a little about it and would love to learn how to use it in your daily life? Are you looking for the right words to express yourself, and hear others in ways that create more connection instead of disconnection?

So often we are excited to learn a new skill like NVC, yet without ongoing support to practice we struggle to use it in real life. That is especially true for conflict situations, emotional discussions or anger outbursts.

Join our community of practice and bring NVC alive in all the areas of your life.

Through demonstrations, interactive role-plays, small group discussion and skilled coaching, you will be supported to integrate and naturalize the NVC empathic, needs-based language and consciousness in ways that are the most meaningful for you.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to:

  • Apply the basic concepts and skills of NVC to real-life situations
  • Move beyond judgments of yourself and others to connect authentically
  • Ask for what you want in a clear way, and get to know yourself better
  • Speak in a way you will be heard and understood, and avoid power-struggles
  • Enhance  the quality of your relationships

This workshop is ideal for those who:

  • Want to learn Effective Communication (NVC) and its practical skills
  • Want more fulfilling, authentic, and compassionate relationships
  • Would like to speak fearlessly their opinion and truth
  • Are open to transforming limiting habits or ways of communicating
  • Are committed to attending and being fully present during all four online sessions – (Will be recorded)

Want to know about Future Workshops?

Nonviolent Communication, (NVC), is based on the principles of nonviolence– the natural state of compassion when no violence is present in the heart. NVC begins by assuming that we are all compassionate by nature and that violent strategies—whether verbal or physical—are learned behaviors taught and supported by the prevailing culture.

NVC also assumes that we all share the same, basic human needs, and that all actions are a strategy to meet one or more of these needs. People who practice NVC have found greater authenticity in their communication, Increased understanding, deepening connection and conflict resolution. The NVC community is active in over 65 countries around the globe.
